My work starts with industry. Ironically, the machines that build the cheap mass-produced items that characterize our times, are still ‘built to last,’ and are often unaware of their own aesthetic.

Rivets, bolt heads and technical details exist for genuine reasons; they serve necessary functions within the machine. It is in the sincerity of these details and their functionality that I find an honest collection of inspirations, and a visual beauty.
