I spent a lot of time in my childhood staring at church banners. I figured this one would be less spiritual, but maybe that isn’t the case. Why did I choose to use the most unforgiving of silks: a snaggy-chiffon? I always do, it’s just so ethereal. I am much more forgiving than this chiffon.
Put your hands in the air, it’s a party. Put your hands in the air and receive the Word. Put your really heavy clay hands in the air and try to make them delicately hold up a wayward silk painting.
